Lawrence Shen, CFA — Managing Director

Lawrence Shen is the Managing Director of Advantage Partners Consulting. His work includes casino market studies, development and expansion feasibility, revenue forecasting, competitive-impact analysis, strategic finance, and expert-witness services.

​

Lawrence's experience spans 34 U.S. states and 10 other countries. He has developed more than 150 models to evaluate gaming demand, revenue potential, and the effects of competition and market changes.

​

Before founding APC, Lawrence served as Director of Strategic Finance & Business Analysis at Caesars Entertainment. His responsibilities included market sizing, revenue and competitive-impact forecasting, and enterprise financial planning. He managed long-term revenue and cash flow modeling covering more than 45 properties and supported development, transaction, and capital decisions.

Lawrence holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and two bachelor's degrees and a master's degree from Duke University. In September 2026, he was named to the Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40 Class of 2027.
